To be a good citizen of any country, you need not an identification card that will show your indigeneity or inhabitation of that land but to be a good citizen of any country or the globe you need to be concerned person who cares on the welfare of his surroundings or locality and exactly that is what Mr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Anshur a native of Somalia and a resident of Etwatwa Daveyton has done, since 2007 when he settled in that township Mr. Anshur has brought smiles to many faces and Hope to many hopeless peoples, he has initiated projects together with civics and political leadership that assisted Elderly people, School children ,women, children with disabilities and orphans, his efforts and interaction with the local community and its leaders completely change the negative perception of Somalis by locals in most townships, a true Ubuntu exist in that township and killings, looting, maiming and burning of shops belonging to the Somali and other foreign nationals is foreign or unknown thing in that land. Last week Mr. Anshur Sponsored a soup kitchen at the Emaphupheni Clinics, which will be officially launched by end of September 2014, the Soup kitchen will assist HIV/AIDS and TB Patients as well as elderly people around the clinic, it will be in operational all working days and for a period of one year before it’s reviewed.
