To be alive in a luscious body is to RECEIVE sometimes.... or MANY MANY TIMES without worry, care, or concern. To EXPERIENCE the SENSUAL (the senses), the aliveness needed to heal and transform ones life can only be channelled when in energetic harmony and balance within the self. The inability to receive is a huge energetic block, and energetic blocks are impetuses to greater dis-ease. Its something that I know my mum, as beautiful as she was in her body temple, had a very difficult time doing. Its something my sister and aunties have a hard time doing. Its something that a few of my past lovers have had a hard time doing. Even many women who are highly feminine presenting have a hard time receiving. The guilt, shame, and repression are in the blood, and the blood connects to the organs, informing the organism (human body). Also I think its the nature of the environment primed with monolithic thought, socialized to experience love as an outward manifestation instead of an internal state of being, and work structures that (attempt to) numb the body away from feeling, turning the body into a robot where all its capable of ....is doing/expending energy. Its really quite fascinating. :)
