To be fair I would like to acknowledge the accomplishments of Ellen DeGeneres. Im not really a fan but there is no doubt that her career is a huge success. That being said, I think that we were spoiled with the antics of Seth MacFarlane when he hosted the Academy Awards last year. Last years ceremony was intellectually stimulating, and extremely humorous! This year.....was quirky at best. I was not amused by Ellen acting like she was buying pizzas, wearing a Glinda costume, or for some reason screwing with Jonah Hill. I wanted to hear whatever might have followed the song that MacFarlane sang last year....We Saw Your Boobs! At least if he was taking a shot at Jonah Hill, we would understand the joke (even if we didnt see the movie in which Mr. Hill appeared.) I heard that he pissed off Jane Fonda last year. If she didnt want to be in the song, she shouldnt have shown her boobs. Hey Hanoi Jane! There are consequences to your actions in this world.....sometimes years later. I also acknowledge that Ellen did a much better job than I could have ever done.....(Hey this is better than the rant I thought about writing yesterday.) Have a great day everyone.
