To be frank, in the Upanishads classes of Srinivas Chaitanyaji (now Swami Sivayogananda) of Chinmaya Mission, that I have attended at Madurai, Coimbatore, Chennai and other places, innumerable people cutting across caste and religious barriers attend. Thirty years ago very few were interested in Vedanta or in the Gita. Now, young people, teenagers, flock to such sat sangs. The thirst for knowledge of Brahma Vidya is stronger now that ever. Westerners flock to Ramanasramam. Even in the Sri Aurobindos Life Divine sat-sang that I conduct in my college without giving any publicity, many people come. We are living in the age of a new consciousness. Our ancient treasures are now the property of the entire world.
