To be honest, lots of things have gone well since our current president took office after the reign of Bushy, and the genesis of the war on terror. Obamas dwindling approval ratings, I believe, has more to do with the fact that we the people are finally waking up about the corrupt system that runs the machine, rather than the fact that he is actually a bad president. The system is the problem, and, for what its worth, when it comes to a leader that absolutely has to work with a corrupt system in order to affect change, he actually hasnt done so badly. Sadly, he is not Jesus. He cant make it so that the extreme poor of other nations arent killed, while Americans live rich at the same time. Resources arent infinite. Rich is relative, of course. Poverty in the US is considered wealth in many parts of the world. ...and yet. It is so hard to make ends meat even at our American poverty levels. Where are all the resources actually going? As per the system, most of the resources, represented by currency, are allocated to less than 1% of the worlds population. The resources are kept there by the act of buying the rights to puppeteer the people we call our representatives. The illusion of choice. What is your favorite color? Terms and conditions: you can only pick blue or red. Blue and red are already bought by the 1%. This is a system fail. Anyway, no real solutions here. I mean, not unless we actually do something real about this, and I dont mean being violent. You dont put out a fire with more fire. And I dont mean voting. All current candidates are bought and in essence the same. I mean we start a political party of the people, by the people. We use free social media to create as much awareness for this party as the two with all the money. We make it party policy that donations will not be accepted, as the party will have no marketing budget, and candidates elected cannot make more than minimum wage regardless of the political office they represent. And we, the people, take over. Im calling it The Peoples Party. Anyway, thats just my idea. I dont really want to do this myself. Too much work. If you do, however, please take this and run with it. You would obviously have my support.
