To begin...excuse my french, but...I couldnt give a royal blue rats ass about likes or comments for this... And I may be the only one who still believes in what it means to save face... That being said...there will be no dropping of names or specifics unnecessary to my message here...and trust me...there is one. I received a barrage of texts early this morning from someone that I hold in incredibly high regard. Someone whose love & passion for their brother/sister, blood or otherwise, and just for life in general, has been seemingly unparalleled in almost any other human being Ive met. These messages revealed to me that this individual was hanging onto the end of their frayed rope, gripping harder than Sylvester Stallone in Cliff Hanger. And the only thing that kept sets of white knuckles strong enough to pull back to stable ground, was our friendship. After crying like a little boy that just dropped his ice cream cone on the sidewalk, and time allowing the weight of everything to set in, there was the realization that Id just received the greatest compliment that I have ever and possibly will ever receive. And, for probably only the 2nd time in my life, Ive never felt more in tune with my purpose. Time to land this plane...NEVER underestimate the weight of your words or actions. Do your best to replace selfishness with selflessness, and that smile/act of kindness might save somebodys sanity. You never know. (P.S. Not to be misconstrued...this was really more of a reminder for myself than anything.)
