To better explain things about the results from the MRI. What the Dr believe the MRI was going to show us was that Braydens left ventral had grown scar tissue inside of it easiest to explain that it would be tough like a Orange peel. They thought doing the EFE surgery could give Brayden a temporary fix tell it grows back again. The EFE is where the basically reconstruct the valve. .they would go in & clean it all out. Lots of risks with it including death. We were told it was a 50/50 shot. Now here is what the MRI showed them. Not only does he have the obstruction inside the left ventral but he has spots all over the left side of his heart. Causing the squeeze function of his heart not able to relax the way it should. Doing a surgery to fix this is not fair..there was 0 guarante that it would work and Brayden is to high risk to do an exploratory surgery that they didnt even know if it would work at this point. Our question..how long does one have with this type of heart problem?? There is no answer for us ..and now we realize it doesnt matter.Brayden is already a miracle!!! ..our job as parents is to love our children & give them the best life we possibly can. Not to worry about when its there time to go! We have a moto is just like the song live like you are dying not to be the bear of bad news but at the end of the day we are all dying..so live today to the fullest..love more worry less. In some ways hearing there is no surgery to help him relieves us...we dont have to make that decision. The decision is up to GOD. We have been reminded that Brayden IS writting his very own story. And we are so blessed as parents to be a part of it. We know our son is fighting an amazing fight he is so strong, every day we learn more and more about life. Its precious. ..and watch Brayden grow up is just amazing. Last night before mommy and daddies date night we sat in the living room with the boys just enjoying laughter after we both had crazy days at work. After Seeing Brayden so excited about playing with his transformers we forgot how crazy work was.
