To blame the house for the 17% government shut down is absurd per the constitution it is their responsibility to appropriate money to fund the budget not give a rubber stamp to everything the senate and White House demand kind of the entire purpose of checks and balances to suggest that legislation by appropriation is some new genius plan is ludicrous and anyone who thinks it is needs to read a history book additionally the government continues to collect enough taxes to fund the entire government at previously established spending levels the issue at hand is not a lack of revenue to keep the government running but simply an unwillingness to provide liberals with increased revenue to expand their social justice programs...the house also has been passing bills since the partial shut down began to fund individual parts of the budget such as paying families of dead soldiers reopening national parks and child healthcare all which the senate has voted down...
