To celebrate "The Wizard of Oz" returning to theaters under a 3D format, here is your random Oz fact of the day. Buddy Ebsen, best known for playing Jed Clampett on "The Beverly Hillbillies" and the title character of "Barnaby Jones," was slated to play the role of the Tin Man. However, an allergic reaction to the aluminum dust used in the makeup for the character forced Ebsen out of the role. From then on until the day he died, Ebsen said that he had lung issues that were complications of his work on the film.
