To clarify for the smart marks on the internet. Straight edge is not a gimmick. It is a lifestyle. Cm punk is not a hero, or a revolutionary. Cm punk was/is a mark. You toss rowdy roddy piper in a blender with Henry Rollins and sprinkle a little minor threat on top and you have the recipe for a super edgy anti hero. He was a dissapiontment to the straight edge movement, and a dissapiontment to the fans. I do not support him, I do not envy him, and I will never idolize him. He preached change and sold out for a title run. Everyone stands for something until they put a nice fat check in your account. Put that in your pipe bomb and smoke it.
