To coincide with the Office of Public Work’s current exhibition at the Casino Marino, the Irish Georgian Society is partnering with the Office of Public Works to present a study day, ‘Paradise Lost: Lord Charlemont’s Garden at Marino’. Taking place on Tuesday June 10th in the City Assembly House, 58 South William Street, the study day will focus on the history, design and conservation of Lord Charlemont’s designed landscape at Marino. Speakers include: Patrick Bowe; Dr Marion Harney; Elizabeth Morgan; Kevin Mulligan; Dr Ruth Musielak; Dr Finola O’Kane; Melissa O’Brien; Dr Romilly Turton; and Dr Rose Anne White. OPW Commissioner, John McMahon will open the Study Day, which will be chaired by Patrick Guinness, Mary Heffernan, Dr Matthew Jebb, Donough Cahill and John O’Connell.
