To constantly criticize the actions of others in the world but not that of the U.S is hypocritical. Radical Islam has spread because of U.S imperialism and constant attacks against the people of the middle east. Is it right to behead and suppress human rights? No. But the liberal only thinks his ideology is the one that should be applied in the middle east, without consent of those involved. The liberal has a holier than thou privilege in his thinking. The Bill Mahers of the world dont have bombs and bullets constantly beseeching them or foreign powers imposing their will on their everyday life. They do not think in materialist principles. They dont see the cause and effect of western opportunism. Why should Arab culture embrace liberal ideology when our culture degrades and invades them? I believe in equality and secular government but the people of the middle east must have their self determination. They have shown that ISIS does not represent them and that they are willing to fight for themselves. It was convenient for our Government to fund ISIS against Assad but now weve lost the leash. The U.S has no interests in the rights or the will of the people of the middle east. Our government thinks in terms of self interest and how to further our market influence and political sway. Let the freedom loving Muslims of the world stand up both to the religious extremist reactionary politics of ISIS and the imperialist capitalist U.S Government and ruling class.
