. . . . To continue . . . We salute you Sir Enrique Soriano, Nene to his colleagues at DLSU when he was with us at the Marketing Management Department establishing a model of a Service Plan together with Professor Benison Cu, another Agora Awardee, and setting the tone in developing a model in Services Marketing in the academe and picked up by the Industry. We salute the late Ed Martinez of AME, who could manage to handle such a big organization, commuting early morning from Pampanga to New Era University and back home late evening after attending to multi-tasks entrusted to him as AME President, and taking the lead in renewing ties with the Marketing Educators Association-USA eventually becoming Director for International Relations of the global association /WMEA during our days when we were AME Officers/. During his leadership, AME participated in a series of competitive, special sessions, and breakfast round table discussions thus widening the academic circle of research presentors even up to provincial areas, just like another Agora Awardee Dean Chere Yturralde of Angeles University Foundation. We salute Adolf Aran, a 2-time AME President, who continued the task of being the Director for International Relations of MEA-USA during his AME Presidency, after Professor Abergos. Despite of the fact that he is currently undergoing dialysis (we continue to pray for you Sir Adolf), he still has the strength to motivate Dr. Vhie Rosas, VP of PCDEB/ECOD, and me, and together with him as the AME TRIO, will continue making presentations at the USA or elsewhere. Hopefully the paper of the 3 of us could get accepted again (Amen ...) for the Competitive Sessions and/or Special Sessions with our combined research article included in the International Research Proceedings just like 3 years ago. Now, we salute Professor Daniel Hebron, President of AME, and Professor Ron Untivero, Director-in-Charge of AME for CPME-Philippines /first CPME/, together with the indefatigable support of the one and only Annabelle Payawal, Administrative Officer of AME and Ms. Rose Santos, Project Coordinator from PMA, working on a Saturday and Sunday, for making into reality the formation of CPME-Philippines with a bigger group of teachers this time. AME took the challenging exams last week and reviewing earlier two weeks ago -- humbling themselves since this was a risk they had to take -- taking all 5 categories of tough exams in just 2 straight days, morning till evening: Research, Marketing Communications, Marketing Management, Strategy, and Philippine Business -- teachers coming from different parts of the country, and looking forward to being conferred the title, Certified Professional Marketing Educator-Philippines. And when they are conferred by the Philippine Marketing Association under the blessings of the Asia Marketing Federation, we from marketing academia can face another challenge of ASEAN 2015 when the level of playing field of competition becomes wider and new professors from Asia will join Philippine academia, while the more qualified from us, the CPMEs for instance, may be invited in their own country to teach as well and become EXCHANGE PROFESSORS: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Macau, and other members of the ASEAN nations. All of this CONVERGENCE are now becoming reality because of the solidarity of the Association of Marketing Educators-Philippines and the Philippine Marketing Association . . . what a nice feeling I belong to both progressive ASSOCIATIONS! MABUHAY AND AME AT PMA! MABUHAY ANG MGA AGORA AWARDEES! MABUHAY ANG MGA ASPIRING PRESENTORS SA MARKETING EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE-USA! MABUHAY ANG NEXT BATCH OF CPMEs!
