To continue the importance of taking photographs - the following is for my God Daughter Jordan Albion Ann Tristram, her partner and family. The images and music are very powerful - the music is by Ed Sherran and called Small Bump - Jordan chose to have this as the first song played at her sons funeral yesterday. To me, these are the most important images ever taken by TipTop Photography - Steve took all of these (with the exception of the ones take by Jordan on her phone and a few by me at the hospital). After a few weeks of reflection since Harrison was born sleeping and we were asked by Jordan to take images of her stillborn baby its made me realise how important it is that photographs are taken - not necessarily to be looked at every day - but if the images are not taken, they can never be looked at when you really need to see them.. Photography is our job, these images are Jordan and her families lifetime memories of her sleeping son. On the grand scheme of things, it really doesnt matter if your model cancels, as frustrating as they may be, or your MUA/Photographer lets you down - try to remember that no matter what someone looks like on the outside - its like a photograph, you dont know whats happening on the inside.
