To-day 50 yrs ago a very special lady came into this world. She was brought up on a farm in Vic to , two very special people who guided her through her younger life, taught her right from wrong. She had 2 older siblings and one younger who were always their for her when need be. I was very privileged to meet her when she was 18 yrs old , doing her thing for the fashion and art world in Mildura, I can remember the first time I seen her she was wearing a little red tartan skirt, black jumper and bright orange hair with a black beret on her head walking down Langtree Ave. She definitely stood out and made her mark. We have been through some tough times and some very very good times, you were always there for me. It was really frightening how many times we were in each others minds, We would ring up and say going out and we would turn up in exactly the same clothing, buy each other the same Christmas presents. We painted a house window frames with 3 bottles of 3 tall ship port under our belts and didnt put any paint on the glass or surrounding walls a job well done. I can remember when she meet her now husband she rang me at work and told me I just met the man I am going to marry after 5 min of meeting him.Now many years later with two beautiful boys and numerous stories . She is battling the dreaded C and has got to her 50th birthday. Neet I wish you a very happy 50th, wishing I was with you in Singapore to help you celebrate, take care my lovely will have that Champers when you get home.
