To elaborate on my earlier post about possibly punching a nurse, I do have to say that for the most part my friend is being properly cared for and treated with respect. However, when my friend is screaming in pain and what he needs is something I am NOT trained to provide and the only nurse in sight tells me that hes not her patient and hell have to wait until his nurse gets back from lunch.. Well, you can imagine my response. It got sorted out and quickly because I think I scared her. And while Im talking about hospital duty I have to say thank you Ed Simms for being there for Dave because tonight was pretty rough and truly sad, I dont think I could have dealt with it by myself.
