To everyone I know, Family, Friends, Co-workers etc. My family and I have made some very tough decisions for Carrissa and her long-term care and I want to take this time to make things personally, very clear. I know some people will not understand our decisions but we are at extreme peace with the decisions we have made for her. Her lungs are deteriorating and she is now at just 24% function. We spoke with family and with Carrissa and she has made the choice that she does not want to rely on respirators and ventilators. We have also decided that, as things get more complicated for Carrissa, we will focus on keeping her comfortable and loved beyond all reason, but we have made the very difficult decision that we will not interfere or use artificial means of keeping Carrissa here with us. Those of you who feel that this is wrong, or that we ask for too much prayer, or that we are not doing what is best for Carrissa, I ask that you please delete us from your friends list. I believe that all of our decisions are made in Carrissas best interest and are made with Gods amazing love and guidance.
