To everyone posting negatively on the Lil Wayne post, its disappointing that 1) you obviously didnt read the article, and 2) you are the ones who do not truly know what Hip Hop or the Zulu Nation is or represents. The Zulu Nation is NOT about the music, it is a COMMUNITY based organization and we promote UNITY. It takes us all to make a difference, and to do that there cant be a divide in Hip Hop. This real vs fake Hip Hop argument is SILLY. Hip Hop is not rap, its not something you do, its something you LIVE. In regards to music we need balance. Everyone doesnt have to make albums full of righteous songs. Thats not everyones path to walk. We need music for life, revolutions, celebrations, and YES...to have fun in the club. Everyone has a story to tell and its their freedom to express themselves in whatever way they choose. There is room and a lane for everyone. Respect everyones individuality. As far as Lil Wayne is concerned, his community work and how much he gives back is amazing. There are other ways you can touch and influence outside of the music. Its amazing we will celebrate and put conscious rappers on a pedestal when some of these artist arent out in these neighborhoods giving back, but we criticize artist like Lil Wayne who take the time to go look these kids in the face and tell them they can be more than their surroundings, and send them to camps, and the like...just because he chooses to have fun with his music. I also know of some rappers yall label conscious who wouldnt accept the invitation to be Zulu, nor promote it, or want to be a voice for change. Seeking truth, understanding, knowledge, and unity is what Zulu Nation is about. So, thank you Lil Wayne for accepting the challenge and Im happy to have you in this organization. Peace Ahki. #Respect
