To everyone predicting the collapse of industrial civilization etc.: Read some economic history. Every more advanced period stood on the shoulders of the epoch that came before it. And the technology that will eventually allow us to have an environmentally sustainable global economy will have been developed during the Industrial Age. Theres no need for your hair to be on fire. Stop it already. Put your shoulder to the wheel and do something positive to help with the transition to renewable energy, etc. My morning rant....
