To everyone that donated to the first phase of ARETOs surgery bill - TopicsExpress

To everyone that donated to the first phase of ARETOs surgery bill - here is what you donated towards. This is what Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery looks like! Although she is going stir-crazy at the vets, because she wants to be out and about and getting lots of attention, due to the seriousness of infection I have decided to leave her there. Of course that comes at a great expense and one the rescue could do without, but one thing I do pride myself on with GaDaH is that I always try and get the absolute best care for the dogs that we save and do whatever I can, where possible to do what is best for them during recovery. Any kind of surgery there is always a risk of infection and that of course is always serious, however, having actual implants, this is a lot more serious and why with all our dogs that have had plates on their legs or pelvis, or in ZACHs case screws connecting his spine and his pelvis back, I try and keep them at the vets as long as we can. Since ARETO is needing another surgery I am really hoping that we can reach the goal of the $1,500 which means I can keep her at the vets until that surgery, which is much better for her in her recovery. I want to thank each and everyone of you for caring enough to donate whatever you are able to, in order for us to continue to save not only the wonderful dogs that we do, but more specifically those that are injured, sick, have heart-worm disease or whatever ailments they have and we can get them what they need and on the mend. I dont choose the cheap option, I often choose the more expensive option, because that is what is best for the dog in long run! So - take a look at that beautiful smiling face of this wonderful, 1 year old German Shepherd, hit by a vehicle and left for dead until ACS picked her up - and GaDaH saved her and got her the treatment she needs. Dont forget we have the $100 Fundraiser challenge going on and I am sure we are almost half way there - if you cant raise $100, then consider doing like others have and donating, $10, $5 or whatever you can - no matter how small, lots of small add up to a big amount. https://petcaring/nonprofits/areto-s-final-medical-costs/47758
