To everyone who is going to read this and is a part of the AB video- I read statements like NOT POSSIBLE, Kabhi Nahi Hoga , MODI politics . DO you really think it is tough to Keep the COUNTRY CLEAN . Let me enlighten you . 1- DO not through litter around , look for a waste BIN before you throw something . Almost definitely there is one round every alternative or couple of corners . 2- DO not spit on the walls and urinate ( as much as possible avoid ) unless you have a medical condition , even then women avoid . Clean the litter from your pets or dump it at an available location . If humans defecate on the road will you like it . Would you do the above two points at your home ..Can you believe it . THATS IT - Your country is already clean . Everybody is in SPLITS - A few more points to enlighten you 1- The government takes care of collection of Garbage( through agencies or otherwise) and allocated dumping grounds ,as cities grow the grounds become even nearer and leads to conflict. High cost of disposal leads to cost cutting without efficiency and leads to conflict . 2- Waste ( wash/bathroom/toilets) are collected via drain networks and treated at Sewage treatment plants/effluent treatment plants and water is recycled ( almost all metros) , Tier 1/2 and smaller towns . Lack of funds, burgeoning populations migrating to cities,unscrupulous nexus between contractors and civic bodies and NETAS all proliferate inefficiency , but the BACKBONE exists . Unused , not maintained . What needs to be worked ON - 1 - Toilets need to be built and more are needed. Most importantly need to be maintained .This is a serious shortage in rural as well as urban India . The above waste is a lot more difficult to dispose and take care of than the first two points , yet the government has initiated it a long while ago , is either enhancing the quantum that can be treated or setting up new treatment plants across India . A population like ours as tough as it is due to the size , it is also a strength , when every responsible person just decides- I will NOT Litter , you can make out the difference within a DAY .. The place will look cleaner . The government is the HARDWARE and WE the People the software . Keep the Software clean and let the hardware work for you . What happens when the software gets corrupted ?. The hardware crashes, which is equivalent to the storm drains getting blocked by debris and garbage . So everyone that thinks its not Possible - JUST DO YOUR BIT , and time will be the judge . The entire mechanism is a well planned map .. It just got a bit hazy with time . all we need to do is look at it from a new perspective. A large part of the world does not even have sanitation.. Can we not maintain what we Have ?
