To forgive is to overlook an offence & treat the offender as not guilty. Forgiveness is one act every human should be quick to practice because,just like the word of God,it is a two edged sword;when you forgive and let go,a burden is lifted from you,when you refuse to forgive,a burden is added to you. Most times we hear people say,He will never go scot free,I will deal with him.Mind you,revenge can convert a little right to a big wrong. You can be wrong in the middle of right just because of your action and attitude. You should know that those who hate you dont win unless you hate them, then you destroy yourself. The Unforgiving heart can never yield good fruit because it is always thinking of evil & vengeance! A heart seeking for vengeance can do ANYTHING to feel alright but the disappointing truth is that vengeance can never give the mind the peace it needs. An unforgiving heart is like an acidic soil & no good seed can germinate on it. An unforgiven heart is a heart with evil load & until it relieves itself from the load, it can never be free for new &good things. An unforgiving heart is like a dark room & until light (forgiveness) comes in , the owner will never see a way out. Is it that bad,You may ask? Yes it is that bad! Thats why you must make it a point of duty this morning to forgive someone whom you believe doesnt deserve it. I dont know that person who was so wicked to you in the past,that person who hurt you beyond words,that friend who betrayed you even after youve shown so much love & care. I dont know that person you need to forgive but I know that this message is for someone who is being weighed down, frustrated, stressed up by UNFORGIVENESS; someone who has been losing his/her blessings & favours, just because of UNFORGIVENESS. You honestly need to free yourself this morning. Do it for yourself at least. Forgive whoever you need to forgive so that you can be FREE to SOAR to height meant for champions like you.
