To get 8 hours of sleep, decide what time you need to wake up every morning then count back the way. The next step is to switch off your tv, computer and other electronic devices at least 30 minutes before you want to go to sleep. Try going to bed and reading a book. Make sure there are no standby lights or any other light in your bedroom for when you go to sleep as these will keep you awake. Write down any tasks, or anything else, that comes to mind when youre in bed so you can attend to it in the morning. By allowing the brain to relax, you should now be able to sleep soundly
