To go to Great Wolf Lodge on Saturday would have been around $500. We chose to go the less expensive route and head to The Falls in Joplin for a day trip. Falls were free... gas was minimal plus cheap lunch and dinner. We have now paid $400 in ER visits, money for crutches and Kelly and Nick are now at the orthopedic doctor with who knows what...broken leg? Torn ligaments? Messed up knee? (Her leg is really really swollen and shes having muscle spasms). We had an AWESOME time at the Falls until we didnt... and Kelly keeps reminding us that Great Wolf Lodge would have been a heck of a lot cheaper! UPDATE: Broken Tibula and Fibula at the knee... taking an MRI of her femur up by her hip joint because they think something has happened there. Shell be in a cast from her foot to her hip, crutches and a wheelchair. (Great Wolf Lodge would have been SOOOO much cheaper!)
