To live in the fullness of Christ and in victory we must center our minds on things of the Spirit, things above and not below with worldly, carnal thinking. We are of the Kingdom of Heaven, seated in Christ in heavenly places (Eph. 2:6). We who are in Christ have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16). I have had Christians say to me, Well we still have to live in this world and go about our day to day tasks. Yes, indeed we do, but we are to do that with a heavenly mindset and not an earthly one. We are in this world but not OF this world (John 15:19). If you find yourself with a negative, depressive spirit, check your thinking. You will find that you are focusing on yourself,adverse circumstances, or possibly on what others are doing or perceived to be doing instead of the nature and character of The Lord and His promises and blessings towards you. Colossians 3:1-2, 1Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. Romans 12:2, And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
