To look at pictures of my beautiful little sister you would never know that she was a deadly weapon for many years. The doctors said it was because she sucked her thumb. The neighbors said it was because she chewed on the fence post. The veterinarian said it was because she was always biting the dog. But I know she somehow made her front teeth stick straight out on purpose. At dinner time you never thought twice about reaching over and stealing a bite off her plate. If she was watching a show on tv, it was safer sticking your hand in the garbage disposal than going for the remote. I remember one time at cypress lake we told her she was too young to be pulled behind the boat on a tube, what did she do? She poked a hole in the tube and blamed it on a stump. Yes, life around that living Chinese star was interesting and dangerous to say the least. I never really felt threatened because I loved my little sister and I knew deep down inside that she loves me, and I can prove it. My other sisters bike tires would always mysteriously get holes in them, mine never did, I would look at her and she would just wink. She had my back and I had hers. We were a team and still are. One day we were planing an ambush on our sister. We were going to place a donut on the floor of my room and leave the door open, when she came in to get it, we would spring the girl with the Dragon teeth. So we fill a giant air cushion up. She sat on one side and I was perched on the bed waiting eagerly for the signal. I got the signal and jumped on the other side of the death cushion launching her across the room. We underestimated how badly our sister wanted that donut because she was like a wild animal attacking, jumping, running and most of all, dodging. We missed. She got the prize. The most intriguing part was the way my little sister flew through the air. It wasnt like a dart or arrow, but her hands and feet were spread out, she looked like a cute little snow flake flying sideways at one hundred miles an hour. If she would have connected with our sister it would have been devastating! Instead she stuck, teeth first, into my dresser. It was scary. Her bottom lip didnt get out of the way in time and for that she has a cute little scar. She got her teeth fixed, now she is more beautiful than ever, but for a while, she was like a black widow, beautiful and deadly. Another saga, dedicated to my beautiful little sis AKA bugs bunny.
