To look away from God is to look in the wrong direction. God is not visible, but He is felt everywhere. God is not visible but we can see His works. God uses men to execute His programmes and intentions on earth. However, the initiative of every blessing or miracle is taken by Him. It takes God for an average man to give you anything or grant you favour. If any man does anything for you, it is not ordinary. God must have touched, inspired or compelled him because an average man is naturally self- centred. Thus, God remains the ultimate source of all things that everybody must look up to. In Genesis 40:14-15, it was obvious that Joseph put God aside and was appealing to a man (the Chief Butler). No wonder the Chief Butler forgot him completely for about 2 years, until God was involved. The initiative of the circumstance and event that prompted the remembrance of Joseph in the palace was taken by God. God actually invented the circumstances that compelled Pharaoh to look for Joseph. God is all you need to have all your needs met. In the event of any need, your first port of call must be God. The moment you are connected to Him, He will compel men to help you. God will send men to you. God will put your remembrance in the mind of men. No amount of appeal or pressure, not even your physical presence can compel men to see you or bless you. If you mount too much pressure on men unnecessarily, you will constitute a nuisance and they may be avoiding you. Do not tell your problem to people, until you have told God because eighty percent do not care and the other twenty percent are glad you have them. Do everything you can to let God be on your side.
