To make a deal with god... mine is self-worth born from my own aspirations. People have always told me at some point or another to place my faith in gods hands. They miss the point about who I am. I never felt the need to solely depend on a divine force or higher power while they carry millions of people who cant protect themselves. Im no atheist, as I hope god can look upon me and see me for my progress in a positive light. If I can be one more person who thrives off his own power and strength in proving to god that I can be recognized, then Im content as far as religion is concerned.
