To make a product successful, USER INTERFACE DESIGN matters the most... Do you have a question that contradicts my answer? Ask these questions yourselves! 1. Why did WeChat or LINE failed, while Whatsapp was a huge hit? Even though WeChat and LINE have more features than Whatsapp. 2. How Facebook gained more users, while similar social platforms failed? Even though Orkut offered more features and functionality that Facebook didnt offer during the early stages.! 3. Why YouTube has more user base and views than Daily Motion? [Daily Motion is worlds second largest video sharing site though! But youtube has significantly higher user base and average daily views] Make the User Interaction with the interface simple! Highlight the key components of the application and give it the highest priority! DO NOT HIDE THE FEATURES FROM THE USERS! Do not make users search the whole app for what they are looking for! Make it pleasing to the eye with good use of colors and typography! Present your application in a clean way! [Do not make a user to learn how to interact with the application! If you do, then you should know you wont survive! Users will give a damn if you have long list of how tos and a steep learning curve!]
