To make something member of a man, make that thing to get to his heart either physically, emotionally, psychologically or spiritually. Therefore, stop connecting with things in your heart if you do not want those things to become part of you or you become part of them. . For me to disconnect from fornication and not allow fornication to be part of me, I must never set my heart into fornication nor set my affection on anything in connection with fornication. Therefore, it applies with lust, evil passion, covetousness or idolatry, hatred or bitterness or unforgiveness in the heart, pride in the heart, lies or deception in the heart. Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). . On the other hand, I should connect with Jesus in my heart forever to become member of Christ. It is when a man believes in Jesus Christ with his heart that he saved and he is connected to his righteousness (Romans 10:9-10). Once the love of God is shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit of Jesus, it becomes impossible for you to be disappointed forever (Romans 5:5).
