To many People Bali Joes was just another nightclub for gay people and straight people to enjoy a wonderful night out and take back back many happy memories on their Iphone. But for me Bali Joe was/is my lifeline....being greeted by the staff and eventually becoming a friend...rare these days. So it is with sad regret I have to pass on that 2 of those people were passengers on the Malaysian aircraft that was fired upon and blown out of the sky. Yes, we see and read about similar acts similar to this but we never think about if it is going to affect us in the knowledge that we might have a friend or relative on the aircraft or boat or whatever the circumstance might be. Ben and Wayan would be known to so many people at Bali Joe and were loved by as many and now their lives have been cut short leaving nothing but sadness and sorrow for their loved ones. I think I would be right in saying that Bali Joe staff would have been their family as were their loyal customers. We all go to places in Bali and fall in love with the staff because of who they are and what they are and we never in a million years would ever think we could lose them this way. I have deep personal feelings for anybody who loses a family member or close friend in any circumstance but this news today has shattered my world because I knew 2 of the passengers who lost their lives. So I am just simply asking the leaders of this cruel world.......can we please stop war, can we just live in peace,can we all live as one?
