To me, all that palaver about Obama being a multi-dimensional - TopicsExpress

To me, all that palaver about Obama being a multi-dimensional chess master has always been as annoying as that Hope & Change nonsense… We heard his response to the truncated CIA Torture Report, in which he bragged about ending the program (The president hoped to convince the public that the issue has now been confronted and resolved since he signed an order barring the controversial interrogation techniques shortly after taking office in January 2009)… — but he never held ANYONE responsible (For Mr. Obama, the report reopened a fight he had tried to avoid for nearly six years. Although he denounced torture during his 2008 campaign, he has resisted pressure from activists to pursue those responsible. His Justice Department re-examined cases of prisoner abuse but did not prosecute anyone, and Mr. Obama rejected the creation of a “truth commission” and backed the C.I.A. in seeking redactions of the Senate report)… He condemned the Torture in response to highly publicized CIA Torture Report, but — “The C.I.A. has lied to its overseers and the public, destroyed and tried to hold back evidence, spied on the Senate, made false charges against our staff, and lied about torture and the results of torture and no one has been held to account.” (Democratic Senator Mark Udall) The close adviser and former aide he installed as director of the C.I.A. John O. Brennan today *Lauded* the CIA Torture Program, in direct contradiction to the presidents having Condemned it — leading to an Outcry that the Only Reasonable choice POTUS has is to FIRE this appointee who has so outraged many of the Democrats (John Brennan Must GO esquire/blogs/politics/John_Brennan_Needs_To_Go). And yet, NOW President Obama is Defending this AssHat (has Full Confidence in CIA Chief) who spoke out in direct Contradiction to the message (Which ONE?!) this president is trying to espouse?! — For Mr. Obama rejected the creation of a truth commission and backed (and Is STILL backing *In Court* the fight against releasing the Full report to the public) the C.I.A. in seeking redactions of the Senate report THIS is what people call a multi-dimensional chess MASTER?! He looks a helluvalot more like a deceptive, manipulative Politician to me… — And Make no Mistake. By supporting Brennan, Obama is absolutely taking sides – with the CIA and against the truth... (For those w/out EZ access to the NYT, fret not: there will be more of this to come…)
