To me, it does not matter what musical/dj background you come from, or whether you are a software or pure analogue DJ. The reason why we are not using traktor, is because of the “SYNC” button. We can show the world we “Singapore DJs” don’t use short cuts. As you know, many (Not all) of the “new DJs” depend on the SYNC button. On a side note we chose to use CDJs and turns…. just to keep it “semi old-skool” and retain some of that “realness”…. while also staying relevant with the current digital age. Even as a Traktor DJ for some years, I have no issues using Serato, and to participate, you only need to mix in one song anyway. How hard can it be? So what’s stopping you?
