To modern feminists I present you this! These women were not victims, oppressed by the patriarchy, they were strong, valiant and refused to be told you cant do it. Say what you will about oppression, but these women prove that through history women COULD do things without calling for the persecution of men! If this does not make your eyes well and your heart swell you have missed the point. Every face pictured here is beautiful and powerful and courageous and many of them, nay, most of them did what they did not to build themselves up as super women, but for the love of country, family, and a lot of times, yes, her MAN.
