To my Auckland region followers of all things fairy-ish . . . You may have read that Im making a fairy garden at Ronald McDonald House at Starship Hospital, and Im looking for a couple of large ceramic plant pots (preferably bright colours, but not a necessity) for the garden, as the plan is to make a couple of different little sections, or villages, with paths and rope bridges etc. linking them together. As the area Im using will only have a low barrier fence around it, there is always the possibility of little ones getting into the actual garden, so I have to be very careful about what materials I use in it (e.g. no pebbles, sharp or rough-edged items, etc., which makes sense of course), hence the idea of large individual pots, preferably of different heights to make it more interesting. If anyone has a large planter they no longer want and would like to donate it to the RMDH fairy garden, the fairies would be most grateful, and l can arrange to have it collected within the next week or two. (Alternatively, if anyone would like to donate one, I have it on good authority that Mitre 10 is having a 20% off sale on planters next month! LOL) Thanks so much (in anticipation) . . .!
