AND BGE. There is a meeting TONIGHT. If you care about Police brutality, if you care about voting rates, if you care about education in Baltimore, then you care about the SOCIAL condition of The People. Try to attend this meeting this evening. We are DOING something about what we have a problem with. At each of our meetings, weve been doing the diligent work of building power by strengthening our connections with each other. Today, we can take a big step forward by bringing other people into our work. Please make any last e-mails, phone calls, etc to get people to attend tonight (the flyer is below). (2 minutes) 3 pronged approach to raise visibility/momentum (5 minutes) Discuss in small groups about collecting stories to increase the visibility of the issue (20 minutes) Who do you know who is impacted by high utility bills? How does that impact your neighborhood? How would you collect the stories of everyone in your neighborhood who is impacted by high utility bills? How would you amplify the voices of people in your neighborhood? Through this campaign, how can you help your neighborhood gain power?
