To my CGSL Family, I want to say thank you to each and every one of you for a successful season and more importantly a jam packed Playoff weekend. I need to give a very special thank you to both Jim Rebstock (Director Field Operations) and Ken Tedford (Umpire in Chief). Without these 2 gentlemen we would not have been able to pull off the past 2 weeks of playoffs thanks to Mother Nature being in a bad mood. Next Id like to give a thank you to all of the Managers for rallying their teams to get them out with the hectic schedule this weekend. I want to thank each and every player in the CGSL for playing in harsh weather conditions this weekend and being there for your team-mates. Thank you to my Executive for working so hard this weekend. Lastly thank you to my HusBear Chris Boosalis for being my rock and sounding board this weekend. When I was pulling out my hair he was stapling it back onto my head. Congrats to the following teams for some excellent played games Group A Champions - Swallows Runners Up - Storm Group B Champions - Benders Runners Up - Big Bats (your boys did it Joseph Wong) Group C Champions - Flashers Runners Up - Hey Sailor Group D Champions - Woodpeckers Runners Up - Hot Dogs This will be my last playoff season as your Commissioner and its been an honour serving you this past 12 years (2 as Assistant and 10 as Commissioner).
