To my Daughter Shoshana, The past is gone, the future has not - TopicsExpress

To my Daughter Shoshana, The past is gone, the future has not come, there is only now. To stay in the regrets and sorrows of the past is a trap. We should grieve our losses and move on. We should learn from our mistakes and move on. We should repair what we can and move on. The past is gone, the future has not come, there is only now. To have no plan for the future is to live as a baby. To have a fixed plan and cling to it tightly and fearfully is too exhausting, and defeat comes with the slightest mistake. To have a vision of a good future is good; we can navigate to it like sailors used the North Star, adjusting but moving forward. The past is gone, the future has not come, there is only now. In the present, every day, be grateful for the new fresh world that is created just for us to start again; Every day, acknowledge and release our delusions, and be grateful for the opportunity to do so; Every day, acknowledge every person and every moment that comes our way, good or bad, as the teacher we need in that moment. I am grateful that you are in my life as my daughter, my friend, and my teacher. No regrets! All my love, Abba (^that is dad in hebrew for those who dont know)
