To my FB BBallers out their and fans of Bball I just saw a post in one of the sports pages and I had to respond to it cause it hit a nerve with. The guy on post said something to the affect that his team and league doesnt sign players unless they have overseas experience, now I chimed in and lit into him like a never before, I started by saying first their not an American player currently playing overseas that had prior overseas experience until someone overseas gave them that opportunity then I proceed to let him know that many of those that are their are their cause of the school they went to basically and he responded yes we like the Top D1 school players, he thought he had me there I then responded that for your information its not the school that makes the player good its the player him or herself that make the school at that moment he was silent and as I began to breakdown to him he realized that I was right and that he was just part of a system and that he was cheating players out of opportunities. So when it was all said and done I told him take a look at the numbers and then take a look at BGM clientele and youll see 80% never went to a Top D1 school but over 90% have and are playing overseas, D-league, and etc. I say this to you young fellas out there dont let anyone discourage you from your goals and dreams, thats why when Coaches Samir St. Clair, Ozell Wells(Estonia and Poland) and Richard Laurel(Italy) proposed that we host an event for them July 26th in Washington, DC we made sure they adhered to what I just talked about and that this was their event not mine..........gentlemen the BALLS IN YOUR COURT...WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO TELL THEM...WILL HE SEE YOU JULY 26th?
