To my Facebook friends: I truly have been pondering how to post this as it is hard for me to ask for prayer or special consideration for myself here. However, I would like to share something that some of you may already know. About 3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. After the results if a CT scan, I was scheduled for surgery to be on Sept 13. This past Thursday, I chose to have an appointment with my doctor as I had some questions I needed answering before surgery. During this visit (after another lab test) my doctor chose to change my surgery date to Sept 4. I am sure all is fine. But I also realize the CT scan and scope can only reveal some of the picture. Not knowing how long this has been going on is the concern. So there you have it. I would appreciate all positive thoughts.
