To my Friends and Family, Ive been formally holding back this news so not to jinx the deal but it got jinxed anyway. But the cat is out of the bag anyway. Debbie and I sold our condo which she has been in for 27 years (me about 20) and at 62 years old bought a house ! We moved in on November 26th, 2014. Debbie always dreamed of owning a home and I never really did. I would be lying if I said I did anything concerning this transition. My beautiful wife did everything ! She listed the condo, found the house, did all the paperwork, legwork, rented a storage unit, staged the condo for show, dealt with the Realtors, banks, loans, city, county, state, federal, post office, movers, plumbers, inspectors, appraisers, fumigators, cable, telephone, internet, gas, electric, dmv, lenders, electricians, gardeners, fence builders, water co., gas company, appliance stores, carpet cleaners, insurance companies, landscapers, exterminators (termites), and a thousand other details. She did so much of it, when I loaded up the pickup and took the first load before the movers came, I actually went to wrong house and walked inside. At first I thought someone was squatting in it. But I went another block and there it was. I am so proud of her and so happy that her dream has finally come true. I wanted to wait till the condo closed escrow to say anything and tonight we got out of our sickbeds (we are both sick) and signed the final papers! I just wanted to share this with you !
