To my Royals: Although it would have been nice to have earned a bright, shiny trophy, remember the lesson of The Bad News Bears, you dont always have to gain the title to be winners. You energized the nation and beyond with your abilities and loveable personalities this year and turned what had long been considered a lackluster franchise into a group of superstars. It actually makes me tear up of how proud I am of all of you. And, as far as a World Series title is concerned, theres always next year. :)
