To my SAS family....so excited to go to Kenya and work with my best friend Susan Scull Carvalho. Susan and I have shared this very special friendship for 48 years. She has been there for me during all the highs and the lows. And I have also been there for her. This has stood the test of time, for sure, and I so treasure my friendship with her. I do know that we all have such a special connection from SAS and we were all so fortunate to have the wonderful childhood there and the bonds we created. Keeping the bonds going is not always easy as distance is a reality and often things feel strained through that. I am so looking forward to this work in Kenya, and because of the love of friendship over the years, we get to do it together. The work is an extension of the work I did in Thailand last year, working with elephants. We use Tibetan Singing Bowls and Crystal, Gemstone and Alchemy bowls to help sooth them, it has proven to be very effective. Mostly the work is to help them to feel safer, to calm the nervous system, and to allow them to begin to let go of trauma they have suffered. WE introduce the work, train the staff, and then gift them several singing bowls we leave with them to keep it going. It has been remarkable, and I LOVE this new chapter of my life. So true to form, Susan has been working on this project for months, scheduling the places we will work, arranging press conferences, scheduling concerts for us to perform with the singing bowls, making time for working with other healers who are interested in learning this modality, and she also just received our shipment of over 40 boxes that went to Africa. This includes bowls to gift, to sell, and to share with Africa. My good friend and fellow Vibrational Sound Therapist, Sharon Anderson is also flying in from Sydney Australia to do this work. I just wanted to share this very very special project with you all. And you can watch this unfold on my Facebook Page at Dari Rasa Trunk Show, which is my business in Bozeman Montana. We raise money all year long at the store, selling some items just to fund this project, and we do a weekly Concert/ Meditation session to raise funds as well. You might just want to check out our FB page, and give us a like to follow this project which will begin end of September in Kenya. Cannot wait for this big adventure!! Much Love to All! Linda
