To my artsy friends: Hello Artists! Its time once again to organize artists in support of the annual Stratford House of Blessing Empty Bowls project. We need artists who are willing to help us create bowls! It doesnt matter if you have no experience working with clay - we can teach you! Right now, we just need you to commit to the project so that we can organize a time at Factory 163 to use their space and kiln. We will be making the bowls in September and glazing them in October. The actual event will be the night of November 7th, 2014. I will be participating and look forward to having you by my side as we produce bowls that will be chosen by event guests. They will then dine on soups and stews made by local chefs. They get to keep the bowl as a reminder of hunger in our community. This event is followed by an art auction. Contributions to that are also greatly appreciated! Please let me know how you would like to participate.
