To my beautiful and all the women of our beautiful land and the world. Happy Womens Day Today I will like and encourage the rest of the men to join me in celebrating you. I thank you for loving, caring, naturing, anchoring, grounding and for the supportive role. You are the very rock that has brought stability and the magnetic compass which has brought direction in my life. Thank you for being my soul mate, confidant, lover and above all for being a great mother to our kids. I pledge my support to your societal struggles of redress to ensure women achieve the best of their human potential, play any role they wish to play in society without prejudice. I edge you to continue to inspire us and shine as the role model to our kids. It is important to be the very women our girl kids would want to become one day and the boy kids would model their future partners around. This cant be achieved in conflict with men, but it can be achieved if you invite us to join in your discourse to ensure we dont just understand your struggles, but we shad our baggage of the legacy of chauvinist male oppression and gender stereotypes that continue to persist and course immeasurable harm to women and girl kids all over the world. I love you, I celebrate you, I honor you because you are special and phenomenal. Happy Womens Day
