To my best friend and the most beautiful bride Olive Salazar-Abiera ...happy Birthday ...and many many more to come ....after my hospital ordeal this past weeks ... I thought that it would be nice to share my Matron of honor speech with you again on this day of your birthday . Good evening everyone. I m Ruby de Mary ..olive’s matron of honor... Olive and Louie .. we all know you waited this long to finally have this union blessed . Wow...It finally here. thank you for the honor of asking me to be one of the witnesses of a dream becoming a reality . I still remembered 28 years ago when I first met olive in kentucky fried chicken .. We both worked there .. At first I did not like her because she was so Maarte and kikay... But I grew to love her probably because I didnt have a kid sister to pick on... One of my favorite things was to asked her to steal a piece of drumstick and wings for me qto eat in the bathroom while at work. From that time on I was able to boss her around ... And became my army . That was only the beginning of a great friendship. Louie and olive I dont have to advise you about your marriage as obviously you already know how Love is to one another after 24 years of being together ..Nor would I tell you that I have the exact formula which will yield Happiness in your New Marriage. So perhaps the very best advice which I can share with you ….is what you already know…. Just continue Loving each other as you have up to the very moment that you both say “ I do”…and you will continue to Love one another in Blessed Forever as your two Hearts continue to Beat as One in Holy Matrimony…..
