To my childhood twin brother and playmate Toto Botbot...Happy Birthday.. On your special day allow me to share some thoughts about our childhood.. Growing up was never too hard for me as I have you not just as my younger brother but also my playmate and my best friend..We just didnt notice how time flies so fast...2 or 3 decades back, you were just my only younger brother and used to be my so-called twin brother as were both alike in many ways (remember how mom would buy us the same set of things from school uniform to shoes and toys)! But you grew up so fast that Ive treated you like my age or sometimes like the Kuya between us (i had few moments on that part..remember when you often carry me on your back whenever I get tired from walking or get scared??)..Few more years and youve grown way faster than I do.hehe..And you have left me behind and you have seemed to become the older brother now..LOL..Looking back I got insecurities with the way things are turning out between us but mind you, it was never an issue for me nor bothered by it. Admittedly, I was the weaker one..haha..Well, Im not ashamed of it coz I know you and the rest of the siblings have showed me how you understand and accepted things as it is.. Well, just like in every relationship and at every point of life there are always memories to keep and share with..We may have lots of good memories sharedf but ours too was never spared with bad memories..and we even had the worst nightmares that we never ever thought we could have or experienced..But no matter what, we both learned from it and theres no way turning back except to move on....It will be told and re-told but like we often tell to ourselves, let it be just memories to keep, either we can frown at it or laugh at it or learn from it. Youre one of the driving force and the reasons why we all stick together through thick and thin..so keep it up! Youre too old too remember the bad times but young enough to keep the good times! On your special day, I wish you all the best and even the simplest joys and happiness that money can and cant buy..May the good Lord gives you good health always and a compassionate heart and the perseverance to always do good. God knows how to reward you so continue to be a blessing to others especially to your love ones. Me and the rest of your siblings are always behind you no matter what! Youre way too blessed so always share and be a cheerful giver in anyway you can and be thankful always. And I want you to know that I will forever be your older brother and best friend wherever, whenever and whatever way I can..Keep that in mind!..HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOTO and GOD BLESS! Lots of love, Jom
