To my dear immediate family, extended family, pastors, church friends, personal friends and Facebook friends, I owe a debt of gratitude for your kind condolences. You have supported me by coming to be with me in my time of need, driving/flying in from California, Texas, Tennessee and Alabama. As you may know, my husband Steve and best friend of 56 years went to be with Jesus. This is the first time I have been on Facebook since it happened and I know you have left many kind words for me which I still need to read. I want to say that dwelling in the Lord Jesus Christ has softened the blow of this loss in a very miraculous way. I have not cried one time and feel the real covering of the precious Holy Spirit. In the natural I would never be able to handle this, but the opposite seems to be true. I feel cocooned in Gods love and amazing JOY! God has promised to take care of me and to let me rest in Him. He is more than enough to heal every wound in me and He has set my feet in a firm place so I dont fall or stumble. I know where Steve is today because he was an awesome man of God, a constant studier of Gods Word and in love with Jesus! The Lord promised us His Free Gift of Salvation to those of us who surrendered to Him in this life. Steve and I have both surrendered many years ago and have felt the Blessed Assurance most of our life. Thank you God for your indescribable gift!!!
