To my entrepreneurs, visionaries, tribal land owners and SRPMIC voters. There is a Zoning revision ( for all tribal lands, commercial and residential on the SRP-MIC) that needs your input. The previous zoning amendment was adopted in 1981 before the 101 freeway and before the rapidly evolving development of tribal lands. The previous amendment hinders economic development for tribal families who want to build on their respective real estate. This revision can change the way we build in the community which will keep us competitive with our surrounding cities, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa.. etc. We must be proactive in creating a sustainable tribe while maintaining cultural preservation, and your input can make that happen.
