To my family and friends, I am sorry to say I will not be hosting Thanksgiving this year. I am sorry to let you know at the last moment. This is due partly to health issues(my copd and ashma have been kicking my ass lately) and part finance and home front issues. On the bright side I have moved to being the on call chef at Tetsu in the mornings which has freed me up to take a full time line cook job with Best Lil Pork House a new meat centric place opening in Alameda. I knew I was going to like it when the head chef Tommy Ryan handed me his card and the slogan on it was Have you been porked today. Grand opening in a couple weeks so a lot of work now to get ready. Long Days. I have just found an inexpensive way to get my penicilin without a prescription so as soon as I get a cheap ashma inhaler the same way I will be back health wise on top. So although things have been tough I am full of hope that they are finally getting better. I hope you all have a great holiday and know I will miss seeing you.
